How do I care for my cutting board or rolling pin?

• NEVER WASH IN THE DISHWASHER
• Do not soak in water
• Hand wash only with warm soapy water.  Towel dry immediately.
• Store away from direct sunlight
• Store cutting boards on edge
• Recoat with mineral oil as needed.
• Do not place hot pots or pans on cutting boards.

What kind of woods do you use?
We only use premium hardwoods to include cherry, maple, black walnut, sapele, poplar and ash.   Special request items may require the use of plywood and other materials.  Items made on our laser are made with acrylic and/or Baltic birch plywood.

What is the difference between face grain and end grain cutting boards?
A face/edge grain board has the wood fibers extending left and right as the board sits on the counter. An end grain board has the wood fibers pointing up and down as the wood sits on the counter.   Each version of cutting boards has its advantages.
